Spectacle – Ringleader of the Circus

Let me be the spectacle if my journey can touch the lives of others.

It’s a wonder how many with a diagnosis

Feel pressure to question their capabilities.

The very quirky labels not of the norm of society

Not deemed fit for notoriety.

I beg to differ. Look here. At me.

I’ll be the ring leader of the circus

The wildest of the packs in the menagerie

Exhibit A

Exhibit B

Far from the clown I’m labelled to be.

Cliche – what goes up must come down.

Overstated:

I’ll expose my own flaws

In an effort to heal, not to gloat

I mean life hits hard

But truth is the antidote.

In honor of this poem, I would like to share “Capture These Moments,” and “Present and Accounted For.”

Next selection, “Capture These Moments.”
