And it’s within this tranquil state
that past versions of me
would wonder if I’m good enough for the
placid planned pleasantries –
nothing fancy,
just my own versions of success.
Realizing that I am now doing
and not just dreaming,
I say:
Yes, Jess.

You are good enough.
