Description

Hi Written by poet and nonfiction author Jessica Fuller, Lost Diary Pages is a collection of poetry and prose scream, “I am irrepressible!” Similar to her 2023 collection, A Different Kind of Rising, Jessica leaves nonlinear reflections in a breadcrumb-like manner to connect her works.

Her use of fairy tale character connotations makes this collection epiphany-like while disarranged pages of youth and adult “diary entries” bring forth compassion for the woven and interconnected depictions of life trials and lessons. Lost Diary Pages includes references to movies like “Fly Away Home” and pays homage to the voices of Maya Angelou. Alice Walker, Audre Lorde, and Evie Shockley.
