Ever tried to find your seat in a room full of glory?

Trying to walk with grace,

Trying to find

Your place?

Because surely the smile on your face

Could erase

Those dis-taste-

Ful thoughts

Fuller feelings

Only to awake pissed off

Because in reality 

You’re a coward.

Trigger warning?

So when they ask me,

“Do you wanna sit here?”

I tip-toe

Ya know?

I tip-toed through life

I tipped each scale

That I could.

Fulfillment doesn’t live there.

You try and try to find yourself 

Where

You never belonged. 

But that’s okay. It’s okay.
